Would you stay a bit longer?

So heres a smallish pic i made today for an artocontest.
Its almost December so its ok to draw really sunny beach right?
So here is a character named Truth. She has been playing in the beach for while with someone who is leaving. Truth is pleading fellow to stay for a while longer with her beautiful blue eyes and playful stance.

I tried a bit more different shading technique that i usually use. It was fun using this style and i felt i could do more with shadows and things, so i think im going to keep using this technique more. Backgrounds are always bit boring in my pictures, so i have to keep working on those! But still im somewhat happy how this turned out to be with sea and all. (though now i realize i forgot possible waves to the beach... oh well )
